Barbara Stenhouse

Barbara Stenhouse has managed counselling services at Lifeline Northern Beaches, Mosman to Kirribilli since 2019, expanding capacity to deliver up to 2,000 sessions annually through a trauma-informed, person-centred approach. She developed a critical incident protocol to support communities in times of crisis and is a founding member of the NB Suicide Prevention Steering Committee. With over 30 years’ experience, she has worked across private practice and community mental health, and has led national psychosocial research projects while fostering strong community partnerships.
