Every year, Lifeline Northern Beaches, Mosman to Kirribilli hosts a wide range of events, from the beloved Pickleball Classic and the Surf Classic to Golf Days and Trivia Nights.
All our events showcase the incredible places we call home—from the Lower North Shore to the Northern Beaches.
As an event volunteer, you play a vital role in ensuring the event runs smoothly and that participants feel welcomed, supported and part of something bigger.
What does an event volunteer do?
As an event volunteer, you may be asked to help with a variety of activities, such as:
- Helping set up the venue
- Packing down after the event
- Greeting and registering participants
- Selling food, raffle tickets or merchandise
- Taking payments for auction items
- Collecting scores
- Handing out drinks or cheering on participants
- Helping the event run to schedule
Who can volunteer?
To become a Lifeline event volunteer, you will need:
- To be 18 years or older
- Have a valid working with children check (you can obtain for free if you are volunteering for a charity)
We provide our event volunteers with:
- A Lifeline T‑shirt to wear at all events
- Water and sunscreen for outdoor events
- A welcoming environment where you truly feel part of a team
