The Suicide Bereavement Support Group offers compassionate support for adults navigating suicide loss. In this safe and respectful space, you can connect with others who understand, share your experience at your own pace, and find support as you move through grief.
The group is co-facilitated by an accredited mental health professional and a peer supporter with lived experience.

What the group offers
The Suicide Bereavement Support Group provides a safe, non-judgemental space to talk openly about suicide bereavement and the complex emotions that can come with it, including guilt, shame, anger, trauma and grief.
In the group, you can expect:
- Emotional support from people who understand suicide loss
- Space to share your experience at your own pace
- Support with recognising and managing triggers
- Practical strategies for anniversaries, birthdays, milestones and difficult dates
- Self-care tools to support healing
- Ways to build resilience and healthy coping strategies
- Information and referrals to additional community support services
Who this group is for
This group is open to adults aged 18+ who have lost someone to suicide, including a family member, partner, friend, colleague or community connection.
You do not need to have everything figured out before attending. The group is designed to meet you where you are in your grief, offering connection, understanding and support in a respectful environment.

- When: Every 3rd Thursday of the month
- Time: 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
- Location: Lifeline Northern Beaches, Mosman to Kirribilli, 310 Sydney Road, Balgowlah
- Cost: Free to attend
